FACILITIES
The José de Oriol Govantes stud farm is linked to the agricultural work of Hacienda de Santa Teresa. Part of the farm is fenced so that the mares can be in the field throughout the year. Our animals are kept free since birth, which allows them to take advantage of the grass, hay and stubble that are produced through each season.
The suckling foals are weaned after six months. They are then moved to a paddock, where they are fed and taken care of.
At three years of age, the colts are moved to boxes and begin basic dressage.
For us, physical exercise has great importance for their development and to keep the horses in perfect condition.
